Step away from the typical nudes and reds, and try a vampy and sultry look with a deep, dark purple pout. This is a cool way to re-create the grunge aesthetic of the 90’s. Although many prefer this look for the night time, it’ll definitely be a head-turner as a daytime lip color! Just make sure to line your lips as this color looks best when it’s clean and defined.

For all the lazy girls out there, this is the make-up trend for you. The monochromatic make-up look is easy as pie (or peach, in this case)! By sticking to one color (from peachy pinks to shades of brown) for your eyes, lips, and cheeks, you can achieve this chic and subtle look. This is definitely a make-up trend to master if you’ve only got 5-minutes to do your make-up. Our tip: use a multi-purpose make-up product like cream blushes or tints to get this look. You won’t even need tools because you can get this look with just your fingers (just make sure they’re clean)!

Nothing says fresh like a dewy base for your make-up. Grab your best highlighter and sweep it on the highest points of your face in order to give off the luminous glow that doesn’t look oily! For normal to dry skin, we recommend placing a liquid or cream highlight before your foundation for an understated, lit-from-within glow. And for our oily-skinned friends out there, there’s still hope for you! Simply use a powder highlighter instead of a cream or liquid after putting finishing powder to complete your look.
Signature Red Lip

The swipe of a red lipstick can elevate any look instantly. Whether it’s with a cat-eye for a sleek and sophisticated look or a low-key bare face for a pop of color, every woman deserves her signature red lip. Now, let’s be clear, not all red lipsticks are the same. There are a lot of things to consider when selecting a red lipstick –skin undertones (are you cool, warm, or neutral?), hues (there’s pink, orange, and even blue!), and finish (matte, creamy, or frosted). Once a woman finds her perfect red, there’s no turning back. It’s a make-up bag must-have!

Can’t seem to master the feline flick? Don’t worry! This winged-out eyeshadow trick is a great way to do a soft cat-eye without the master skill necessary. Simply take a thin liner brush with either a black or brown eye shadow and follow your eye shape towards the end of your brows. Afterwards, take a blending brush and soften the liner you’ve just created for that barely-there winged-out liner. Don’t forget to curl your lashes and sweep your favorite mascara for fluttery lashes to match!

Who says a tan is only for the summertime? This sun-kissed look will never go out of style all-year-round! It doesn’t matter if you’re a fair-skinned gal or a proud morena, bronzer is one of the most important products in our beauty arsenal because it instantly gives life to your face. Pat it on your temples, cheeks, and add a light sweep over the nose for a perfect tan (nobody will know it’s fake)! Most of all, you’ll look glorious under the sun.
Our tip: sweep some left-over bronzer on your lids to bring the whole look together.

In the latter end of 2016, we saw warm toned eyeshadows on every palette. This eyeshadow look isn’t going anywhere and is a great way to create a sexy yet grungy look. If you think this is a difficult color to pull off, think again! A light sweep of red-toned eye shadow is a romantic addition if you’re going for a nude look. On the other hand, a darker and more smoked out eye shadow look is perfect for a sultry night out. Just remember to blend, blend, blend!
